Escaping from the heat

Patios, inner spaces in houses, gain a very special relevance during the summer. Many open out onto the streets through beautiful wrought iron gates, which allow them to be admired by neighbors and visitors alike. This type of patio can be found in hundred and more year old houses - as in the “Cortíjo La Joya Apartamentos” – and it is often grander than the type that is totally enclosed by the property, given that their owners tend to take care of every detail in these cool areas.
