Bodega
'Bodega' translated means "Vineyard" or "Wine Cellar".
The Bodega is the social - evening gathering point for our
Guests. You will have a lot of fun in this rustic place. The Bodega
have been the old stables of the 'Cortijo La Joya'. The feeding troughs
are now the seats. The cobble stoned floors and the rustic walls have not
been changed. Old agricultural tools are placed on the walls for
decoration. An open wood burning fireplace will give homely heat on some colder
winter evenings. Wine, spirits and minerals are on standby for a
cost price to our guests. But to enjoy the Bodega, coffee and alcohol free
minerals are also a delight.
The Bodega also contains "Sky Satellite TV", a Video Recorder to play your videos and a DVD player to play all CD's and DVD's available for your entertainment. With the help of the DVD player you can view your newly shot photos from a digital camera.
The Bodega has two rooms. The first small room is ideal
for reading a book from our small library which is situated in this room. There is also a "public Computer" installed to browse the Internet or gather your emails if you do not travel with your own computer.
The second larger room is the rustic gathering area with old
furniture and the open fireplace.
